mCOMM: Trent Stewart - Virus & Daily Psychic
Local events manager, Trent Stewart, runs monthly events at various locations through out Queensland. Originally as a form of marketing Trent was posting notices on his website, however found numbers dropping due to the difficulty of people logging on to the website and getting the party details and address.
Trent then approached mBill for SMS assistance and we suggested he try our mCOMM product. We were able to provide him with a much better alternative whereby he advertised a keyword and phone number on his promotional fliers, advertisements and website that people could SMS in to receive the party location. He simply set-up an auto responder message with the location and set it as a time-based alert, simple!

The diversity of mCOMM is evident when we see it extend to a client who wanted to provide daily psychic services in an automated, low maintenance manner. We teamed together to create a strategy whereby customers subscribe to daily psychic services to receive a message each day on topics such as their horoscope, inspirational messages and daily numerology readings. All the client had to do was log a database of messages which would then be sent to subscribers each day, updating them regularly and maintaining an active marketing campaign. "This was perfect for me, not wanting to spend a lot of money or time on this project. It didn't require me to take out large ad spaces due to the simplicity of the service and its maintenance was low, requiring only a little bit of my attention each month. And who said you can't make money from the mobile market."
