mBill teams up with Vodafone Portugal to deliver content and services on Vodafone Live!

November 5th, 2002 - mBill has partnered with Vodafone Portugal to provide content and services for the launch of Vodafone Live! across Europe. Available from 8 November, Vodafone Live! is set to change the way mobile phone users access the mobile Internet. Vodafone Live! combines a high-quality colour handset, an easy to use coloured menu using icons, together with a variety of content and services. Vodafone Live! offers users third-generation mobile services, supported by GSM technology via GPRS before the launch of UMTS (3G).

For phase one launch of Vodafone Live! mBill has provided content and development services. These can be seen within the Erotic category, contained within the Vodafone/Vizzavi directory. Phase two of the service will provide mobile users more functionality and the ability to download erotic content to their mobile handsets. This takes full advantage of technologies such as: Premium Rate SMS, MMS and Streaming Video.

To assist in content provision and maintenance mBill has entered into an exclusive partnership with mErotica.net. mBill values this relationship as it enables mBill to focus on its core business of mobile billing services and development.

mBill's involvement in Vodafone Live! has provided greater exposure to mBill in the mobile Internet sector. This exposure is set to provide potential partnership opportunities with Vodafone in other regions around the globe and an extended distribution channel for mBill's products and services.
